The Mehat Pur police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin.
Station House Officer (SHO) G.S. Nagra said that 10 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Surjit Singh alias Seeta son of Chan Singh a resident of Dharme Dian Chhana village.
SHO said that cases under sections 21(B) /61/85 of the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused and assistant sub-inspector Jaspal Singh is conducting further investigations.
