NAKODAR
To facilitate the people to avail the benefits of welfare schemes of the Punjab Government at their doorsteps, a camp has been organized under 'Sarkar Tuhade dwar' program at Nakodar today.
MLA Nakodar Inderjeet Kaur Mann who visited the camp, asked the officials to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes must reach every eligible applicant as ensuring the welfare of people is the topmost agenda of the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann.
Interacting with people at the camp, MLA said that programs like Aam Aadmi clinics, free electricity, and pensions by the Punjab Government would change the fortune of people. Besides that, the newly launched helpline no 1076 to ensure the service delivery at people’s doorstep would also be a game changer, she added.
Meanwhile, SDM Gursimran Singh informed that many people availed the services related to pensions, Scholarships, water connections, electricity, water supply and sewerage, Municipal councils, and death and birth certificates at the camp.
