The Lohian Khas police have arrested a migrant thief for seating cattle.
Investigating officer Avtar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Naushad son of Deen Mohamad a resident of Saharan Pur district, UP.
Piara Singh a resident of Mohari Wal village had complained to the police that the accused and his accomplices had struck at his cattle shed in fields on December 22 night and decamped with a buffalo.
Investigating officer Avtar Singh said that a case under section 380(theft in dwelling house) and 457(house trespass) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused and recovered from his possession a stolen buffalo.
