SHAHKOT
The Shahkot police have arrested a woman on the charge of selling illicit country-made liquor.
Investigating officer Jagdev Singh said that the accused has been identified as Kulwinder Kaur wife of Dilbag Singh a resident of Pati Akal Pur, Malsian village.
IO said that 30 bottles of hooch were recovered from the possession of the accused. A case under section 61/1/14 of the Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
