The Mahat Pur police have arrested two thieves on the charge of stealing cameras from a government primary school.
Investigating officer (IO) Jaswindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as
Sonu Singh son of Gurnam Singh and his brother Ravi Singh a resident of Rai Pur Gujran village.
Kamlesh a resident of Parjian Road, Mehat Pur locality complained to the police that the accused and his accomplice barged into the Government primary school Rai Pur Gujran village on December 19 night and decamped away camaras from school rooms.
IO said that a case under sections 457 (lurking house-trespass) and 380(theft in dwelling house) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and his accomplice Gurpreet Singh son of Bhajan Singh a resident of Rai Pur Gujran village.
