The Lohian Khas police have arrested a thief on the charge of stealing household items
Investigating officer (IO) Balwindar Singh said that the accused had been identified as
Mandeep Kumar alias Mannu son of Ramesh Kumar a resident of ward no.3, Lohian Khas.
Jasvir Singh a resident of the same locality complained to the police that the accused and his accomplice barged into his uncle’s house on December 19 night and decamped away many household items.
IO said that a case under sections 457 (lurking house-trespass) and 380(theft in dwelling house) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and his accomplice Sachin son of Dharam Pal a resident of ward no 9, Lohian Khas. IO said that some stolen items have been recovered from the possession of the arrested accused
