The Lohian Khas police have arrested a villager on the charge of selling illicit country-made liquor.
Investigating officer Kashmir Singh said that the accused has been identified as Makhann Singh a resident of Nihaloo Wal village. 150 bottles of hooch were recovered from his possession. A case under section 61/1/14 of the Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
