The Lohian Khas police have arrested a villager on the charge of outraging a woman’s modesty.
The Investigating Officer (IO) Kashmir Singh said that the accused has been identified as Sukhwindar Singh son of Balwant Singh a resident of Kakarr Kalan village.

Rajwindar Kaur wife of Sarabjit Singh a resident of the same place had complained to the police that the accused who is her brother-in-law barged into her house on the April 23 evening in an inebriated condition and used filthy language against her assaulted her and tore her clothes.
IO said that a case under sections 354 (criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), and 323(voluntarily causing hurt) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused.
