SHAHKOT
The Shahkot police have booked a youth on the charge of kidnapping and confining a girl.
Investigating Officer (IO) Balvir Chand said that the accused has been identified as Bhupinder Singh alias Bhinda son of Maghar Singh a resident of Reharrwan village.
Nidar Kaur wife of Pritam Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the unidentified youth kidnapped her daughter and confined her somewhere.
IO said that a case under section 346(wrongful confinement in secret) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
