The Shahkot police have booked a villager on the charges of giving shelter to criminals,
Investigating Officer (IO) Kashmir Singh said that the accused has been identified as Bhajan Singh son of Aatma Singh a resident of Bau Pur village.
IO said that the accused gave shelter in his house to two accused identified as Jasvir Singh alias Jass son of Lakhvir Singh and Varinder Singh son of Baldev Singh residents of a village under Nakodar Sadar police station who are wanted by the police in case of an attempt to murder and firing
IO said a case under sections 212,216(harbouring offender whose apprehension has been ordered) has been registered against the accused.
