NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have booked unidentified persons for illegal mining.
Junior Engineer cum Mining inspector Nakodar Shahkot Ajay Kumar complained to the police that unidentified persons were excavating earth from fields in Bajuha Khurd village on December 11.
Investigating officer Sukhwinder Singh said that the police reached the spot and impounded a pork line machine with two tippers one loaded with earth but the accused managed to flee and a case under Section 21 of the Mines Act has been registered against the accused.
