Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal on Monday reviewed the ongoing construction work of 10 more Aam Aadmi Clinics to be set up in the district during the fifth phase so that people would be able to get better health services at their doorsteps.
Directing the concerned officials of PWD, electricity, and health to complete the ongoing work by December 15, the Deputy Commissioner said that the benefit of this flagship program of the Punjab government must be reached to every needy one. He also instructed them to speed up the pace of work besides ensuring daily monitoring by the higher officials to ensure quality work.
Sarangal said that new AACs would be opened at Bhogpur, Kakar Kalan, Village Athola, Dhandor, Nijjaran, Malli, Baring, City Park Nurmahal, Mohalla Sherpur near Kapurthala Bypass Nakodar and sports college.
It may be mentioned here that 55 Aam Aadmi Clinics running in the district are already providing quality health services to the people near their homes and seeing the success of these clinics, 10 more Aam Aadmi Clinics are being opened in the district.
