'Spark Mela 2023' will kick start today (Dec 11) to prepare the students for future challenges in their lives the district administration has completed preparations for the 8th edition of Spark Mela to be held at the local Guru Gobind Singh Stadium on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal expressed hope that the Spark Mela 2023 would work as a torch bearer to educate the children and especially the female students after 10th and 12th classes about the right choice of career, occupation according to their future needs. Besides the unlimited possibilities of employment in the government and non-government sectors, experts would advise and interact with them face-to-face. He also informed that about 5000 children from government schools and about 2000 children from private schools will participate in this fair for which arrangements have been made for their transportation and refreshment.
During Spark Mela 2023, proper guidance will also be given about the proper use of 'Artificial Intelligence' and assistance in employment.
Apart from this, the latest technologies being developed at the international level, soft loan facilities at easy rates through banks for skill development, and employment establishment will be the centre of attraction for students.
The Deputy Commissioner exhorted the students to participate in a maximum number to give a new direction to their career through Spark Mela- 2023.
