Preparations are in full swing by the district administration for the 8th two-day Spark Mela to be held on December 12-13 in Guru Gobind Singh Stadium to provide much-needed guidance to students for opting for the right career.
The SDMs Balbir Raj Singh and Rishab Bansal held meetings with organizing, career counseling, venue, mela, cultural, medical, stage, transport, food, sanitation, safety and security committees, and others so that every effort can be made for making the event successful.
SDMs said that Spark Mela was being held to give a platform to the young students for getting guidance directly from the experts including IAS or PCS officers, Armed Forces Officials, and others. They said that most of the students remain in a dilemma for choosing the right field in their lives and this event would certainly provide requisite support to them for choosing their career in a better manner. They also exhorted the educational institutions to give wholehearted support for the event.
