Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr (Major) Amit Mahajan on Wednesday solicited fulsome support and active participation of the educational institutions to make the upcoming Spark Mela a huge success.
Presiding over a meeting in the district administrative complex, Mahajan said that the Spark Mela was organized every year by the district administration to properly guide the youth of the district in selecting the best career. He said that most of the students face a dilemma in opting stream after matriculation.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner also stated that this Mela would certainly provide requisite support and logistics to the students for choosing their careers in a better manner as several experts from the renowned fields would give career-related guidance to them in separate face-to-face sessions. He expressed hope that Mela would give a chance to the students by guiding them for the best option.
He further appealed the educational institutions to become a part of the event to transform the destiny of youth by contributing generously. He also said that the stalls would be installed by the educational institutions and exhorted the students must avail the benefits of such sessions to carve a niche for themselves in life.
