Punjab Legislative Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan said that the quality education to the students could propel the state and country to greater heights.
Sandhwan was addressing the annual function of Swami Mohan Das Model School. He said that the students were the future of the country, and they have to take the reins of the country so it is the prime duty of the government to ensure quality education to the students. He said that the project of 'Schools of Eminence' was launched by the AAP government to ensure holistic development of the students. He said that this was an important step aimed at providing a good learning experience for the students to excel in various fields.
Further, Sandhwan said that the government was also opening state-of-the-art training centers to provide coaching for aspiring candidates of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exams. He also called the students to dream high and work hard to achieve them to be successful in their lives. He said that the youths had a huge responsibility on their shoulders to make India a superpower in the world and they should remain focused on their goals.
He said that the students must not get disheartened if they face any kind of failure as failures are pillars of success
The Speaker also encouraged them to follow in the footsteps of the freedom fighters, martyrs who laid their lives while serving the country. He said that India was the country with the highest population of youths in the world and they must play a key role in the further development of the country.
