NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police have booked three villagers on the charge of raping a minor girl.
Nakodar Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) Sukhpal Singh said that the accused have been identified as Manpreet son of Raj Kumar a resident of Aalo Wal village, Manwinder Singh, and Kaka residents of Pandori Khas village.
The victim complained to the police that both accused forcibly raped her and the third accused stood guard during committing of crime.
DSP said that a case under sections 376(rape))and 120-B(criminal conspiracy ) of the Indian Penal Code and sections 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act -2012 and section 3(1) of the SC/ ST- Act has been registered against the accused. No arrests have been made and raids are being conducted to nab the absconding accused.
