Punjab government  committed to bring revolutionary changes in health sector: Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal

Punjab NRI Affairs and Administrative Reforms Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal on Saturday said that the state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was bringing revolutionary changes in the health sector, ensuring quality medical facilities to the people.

Stating extraordinary works by the government in the health field, Dhaliwal said that 664 Aam Aadmi Clinics (AAC) were opened to provide free treatment to the people in close proximity to their residences besides infrastructure in hospitals was being augmented on war footing.

He also said that Sehatmand Mission Punjab had been launched for the facelifting of all the government hospitals across the state.

Dhaliwal was addressing the people after inaugurating the 36th Free Eye Operation Camp by Lions Club Aadampur Doaba. Lauding the Club, he also announced Rs 5 lakh for an organization to hold free camps for the people.

The Minister also appreciated the NRIs for contributing to the development of villages and assured wholehearted support.


 Lok Sabha member Sushil Kumar Rinku also addressed the gathering and hailed the club. He also said that the state government was committed to the all-around development of the town and several programs were being launched for the welfare of the people. He also announced Rs 5 lakh from his MPLAD funds for the club.
