The district administration will organize a mini-marathon on November 28 to formally kickstart Spark Mela, a career guidance event slated to be held on November 29-30.
Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal said that a mini-marathon would be organized to disseminate the message of healthy living among the people, especially youth.
He said that the rally would commence from Guru Gobind Singh Stadium and would culminate at the same venue after passing through Chun-Mun Chowk, Model Town, Masand Chowk and Milk Bar Chowk. He said that apart from giving the right guidance to the students, the mela also will also promote healthy living.
Sarangal said that the Mela would be held at the Guru Gobind Stadium on November 29-30 and assured that the administration would make elaborate arrangements to ensure that students do not face any sort of problem. He also fixed the duties of various departments for the smooth holding of the mini marathon.
