Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal on Saturday carried out a surprise checking of an Aam Aadmi Clinic and Sewa Kendra falling under the Adampur sub-division.
The inspection was conducted in Arjanwal Aam Aadmi Clinic (AAC) and Chomon Sewa Kendra to further improve the working at these centers and facilitate the visitors.
Divulging the details, Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal said that the checking in AAC and Sewa Kendra was aimed at ensuring smooth functioning of these centers by removing bottlenecks, if any.
Earlier, Sarangal took stock of services being offered in Arjanwal AAC and got detailed information from the staff present in the clinic about the footfall of patients, online registration, medical checkups, lab tests, and medicines' stock.
He interacted with the people who came there to get them for check up and asked about the improvements that could be made in the functioning of the clinics.
He also gave directions to the staff to ensure the delivery of lab test reports to the patients within 24 hours. He further said that the aim of Aam Aadmi Clinics was to provide hassle-free, quality treatment, and test facilities free of cost to the common people at their doorstep.
Later, he visited Chomon Sewa Kendra and asked the Sewa Kendra officials to maintain zero-pendency in citizen-centric services by disposing of applications within the stipulated time frame.
He asked the officials to give topmost priority to the grievances of the public visiting them. He also spoke with the visitors there and sought their feedback about the functioning of the Kendra.
