The Shahkot police have booked three miscreants on the charge of snatching cash, and medicines.
Investigating officer Pardeep Kumar said that the accused have been identified as Jasvir Singh alias Jassi son of Hari Singha resident of Dharme Dian Chhana village Gurcharan Singh alias Raju son of Hoshiar Singh a resident of Rai Pur Arayian village under Mehat Pur police station and Ajmer Singh son of Karnail Singh a resident of Khurshaid Pur village under Shidhama Bet police station Ludhiana
Sonu Ram a resident of Kang Wale Bille village under Mehat Pur police station complained to the police that he was returning home on November 3 when three motorcycles accused waylaid him at the main bridge Shahkot and snatched Rs 7000 and a bag containing medicines at a point of sharp edge weapon
IO said that a case under section 379-B (snatching) and 34(committing crime with common intention) of the IPC was registered against the accused.
