The Nakodar city police have booked unidentified persons on the charge of stealing cash and electrical items from a shop.
Tejinder Singh a resident of Mohalla Sher Pur, Nakodar complained to the police that thieves barged into his electrical shop in MC Chowk on October 30 night and stole Rs 97,000 cash, and electrical items worth Rs 1.70 lakh.
Investigating officer Rajinder Pal Singh said that a case under sections 457 (lurking house-trespass) and 380(theft in dwelling house) of the IPC has been registered against the unidentified accused.
The Shahkot police also booked unidentified thieves for stealing from three Sewa Kenders on a statement of Sarpanch Sukhraj Singh of Bagga village said IO Rashpal Singh.
