The Nurmahal and Mehat Pur police have booked unidentified farmers on the charges of burning paddy stubble fields.
Nurmahal investigating officer Jang Bahadar said that three unidentified farmers have set afire their paddy stubble fields in Bath,Chemma and Gorsian Peeran villages and violated government order in this regard.
Mehat Pur investigating officer Davinder Singh said that a patriot informed the police that one unidentified farmer set afire his paddy stubble fields in front of the Sango Wal village petrol pump in violation of government order.
IO’s said cases under section 188(disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the IPC have been registered against unidentified farmers.
