The Nurmahal police have arrested a villager on the charge of smuggling liquor. Investigating Officer Vijay Kumar said that 12 bottles of liquor were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Sukhwinder Kumar a resident of Bhandal Himmat village . A case under Sections 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused who was released on bail.
