The Lohian Khas police have booked a car driver villager on charges of rash driving, endangering life, and mischief.
Investigating officer (IO) Govinder Singh said that the accused has been identified as Dharam Pal Singh a resident of Sangrur district.
Santokh Singh a resident of Burj Mohamad village in Feroze Pur complained to the police that the accused was driving his car (PB-13-BG-9435) negligently and fast on September 14 4 and hit his motorcycle near Kara Ram Singh village and seriously injured his son Partik Singh.
The investigating officer said that a case under sections 279(rash driving on a public highway), 337 and 338((act endangering life or personal safety of others) and 427(mischief) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
