The video is viral now. A large number of the farmers, with allegiance to some Kisan Union seen helpless government employee to strike a match and initiate the paddy stubble burning.
In the video, the government employee seems to have visited the spot to stop a farmer from burring the paddy stubble in his fields, but other farmers immediately visit his fields.
The farmers seen forcing the employee on duty to strike a match and burn the paddy stubble in that field.
No one seems to have come to rescue the employee, even he is seen telling the farmers that he had called up DC of the concerned district.
"we are helpless, I had even called the DC Sahib as well, but he is not coming. You may ideograph the incident, but let me  contact others," he is seen telling the farmers in generally translated from the video.
when no one comes to his rescue, the farmers burst in laughter and ask him to strike a match to start burning the stubble.
"It is that we all got together otherwise you had been dominant on the owner," they say.
Finally, he strikes and match, handed over to him by the farmers and is forced to start burning.
The chief minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann posted on X,"Dear Punjabis, which way you have walked on to? The government employee went to give the message of not burning stubble, but he was made to burn it.The Gurus have given the air the rank of master, the Guru.We are going to finish the oxygen of the share of our children by taking match sticks in our hands...Parcha darj hon lagga hai(The FIR is going to be registered."
Criticizing Mann, Sanjha Morcha Zira, which is demanding the closure of Malbors distillery and registration of cases against it, posted on X"Mann is ordering registration of FIR against the farmers sitting in Chhattisgarh in just 15 minutes, but SMZ is demanding the registration of cases against the distillery for the past 15 months, the CM dared not.
The paddy stubble burning is a very sensitive issue for the farmers and state government and this incident may bring the ruling AAP and Kisans face to face.
Though the farmers action can not be justified at all, but making red entries and penalizing the farmers by the government also can not be justified in any way.
The 100 per cent stubble management is not possible by the farmers because there is very short period left between the harvesting of paddy and sowing of the wheat crop.
