A delegation of reporters from Faridkot on Wednesday met the SSP Faridkot, Harjeet Singh demanding justice for a vernacular press reporter from Kotkapura.
The delegation also met the chairman, legal services authority and President of Bar Association Faridkot to appraise them of the case.
Gurinder Singh Mehndiratta,who is a senior press reporter with a vernacular daily from Kotkapura alleged that two men and one woman are trying to blackmail and harass him on social media for some time.
He said that they are trying to defame him while he is engaged in social works apart from working as a reporter and is a respectable person in the area.
The delegation was led by the Kotkapura unit of Punjab union of journalists besides press reporters from Kotkapura and Faridkot.
