The Bilga police have arrested the seventh accused of murdering a co-villager.
Station House Officer (SHO) Mohinder Pal said that the accused has been identified as Manni Kumar son of Resham Lal a resident of Pati Bhoja, Bilga village,
SHO said that the accused and their six accomplices murdered Jagdeep Singh alias Jaggi son of Charan Singh, a Pati Bagga Bilga village village on October 22 night.
\ Mohinder Kaur mother of the deceased has complained to the police that the accused murdered her son Jaggi by thrashing him in the cremation ground of Pati Bagga.
She has said in her complaint that the accused came to her house on October 19 and threatened to kill his son if he did not behave properly.
SHO said that a case under sections 302(murder) 506(criminal intimidation) and 148 and 149(rioting) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused and six accused were arrested earlier.
