Exercising powers vested with him under Section 144 CrPC, District Magistrate (DM) Vishesh Sarangal on Tuesday banned the dangerous stunts involving tractors and other agricultural implements in Jalandhar.
In the orders issued, Sarangal said that display of stunts on tractors or using other implements put lives at stake. He said that the ban had been imposed following the directions of the Department of Home Affairs and Justice. He said any such mishap must be prevented in the future so a complete ban on the stunts involving tractors and other agriculture implements is being imposed in the district.
