The Bilga police have arrested two drug peddlers including a woman on the charge of selling poppy husk.
Station House Officer (SHO) Mohinder Pal said that 20 kilograms of poppy husk were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Narinder Singh alias Sonu son of Baldev Singh a resident of Sango Wal village and his wife Reshma.
SHO said that a case under section 15(B) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded a car (PB-02-AZ5441) in which they were traveling with contraband.
The Nakodar Sadar police arrested two drug peddlers identified as Sarabjit Singh alias Saabi son of Kulwinder Singha resident of Uggi village and his brother Karanjit Bholu with 210 intoxicant tablets said IO Nirmal Singh.
