The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested two miscreants on the charge of stanching cash from a migrant.
Investigating Officer (IO) and Shankar police post in charge Lovleen Kumar said that the accused have been identified as Lakhwinder Singh alias Manni son of Jaswant Singh a resident of Chanann Pur village and Rohit Kumar alias Sunni son of Balvir Singh a resident of Bhode Saprai village under Sadar Jamsher police station.
Ramesh Kumar a native of Bihar State and presently living at Bajuha Khurd village complained to the police that two motorcycle-borne accused waylaid him near Chak Kalan village on October 27 and snatched Rs 2000 from him at the point of the sharp-edged weapon.
IO a case under sections 379-B (snatching),411(dishonestly receiving stolen money), and 34(committing crime with common intention ) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and recovered from their possession snatched money (Rs2000) sharp-edged weapon and impounded a motorcycle used in the crime.
