The Bilga police have arrested two absconding Bilga residents for murdering a co-villager.
Station House Officer (SHO) Mohinder Pal said that the accused have been identified as Chandan Kumar alias Chandi son of Amarjit Jiti, a resident of Pati Bhati, Bilga village, and Jaskaran Singh alias Bobi alias Dadu son of Amir Chand Lali of Pati Bagga Bilga village.
SHO said that the accused and their four accomplices murdered Jagdeep Singh alias Jaggi son of Charan Singh, a Pati Bagga Bilga village village on October 22 night.
\ Mohinder Kaur mother of the deceased has complained to the police that the accused murdered her son Jaggi by thrashing him in the cremation ground of Pati Bagga.
She has said in her complaint that the accused came to her house on October 19 and threatened to kill his son if he did not behave properly.
SHO said that a case under sections 302(murder) 506(criminal intimidation) and 148 and 149(rioting) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused and four accused were arrested earlier.
