NAKODAR
A Nakodar village resident died after drowning in water.
Investigating officer (IO) Amarik Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Shani Kumar son of Iqbal Chand a resident of Said Pur village.
Sandip Kaur wife of the deceased told the police that her husband died after he fell into a pond and drowned in water.
IO said that the police acting under section 174 of the Cr.P.C. handed over the body after post-mortem.
