NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police have arrested two Nakodar residents on the charges of attempt to murder and firing.
Investigating officer (IO) Rannjit Singh said that the accused have been identified as Harsh alias, Gora alias Khushakee son of Jasvir Singh, and Lov alias Gulabi, son of Sukhdev residents of Mohalla Guru Nanak Pura,Nakodar.
Rak Kumar a resident of Malarri village had complained to the police that the accused and their other barged into his saloon situated in Mohalla Gauns on October 6 evening and attacked him and his brother Harsh with dangerous weapons and one accused Gora son of Makhan had opened fire from his pistol at his bother with an intention to kill him and gunshot hit above his brother’s chest who was seriously injured.
IO said that a case under sections 307(attempt to murder),452(House-trespass after preparation for hurt, assault or wrongful restraint),323(voluntarily causing hurt),506(criminal intimidation) 427(mischief), and 148 and 149(rioting) of the IPC and sections 24/54/59 of the Arms Act was registered against the accused and others.
