The Nurmahal police have booked four unidentified persons on the charge of assaulting a villager.
Sukhjit Singh a resident of Sunner Kalan village complained to the police that he was returning home on the June 21 late evening when four unidentified persons attacked him with weapons and injured and threatened him with dire consequences.
Investigating officer (IO) Manjit Singh said that a case under sections 323, (voluntarily causing hurt ) 341(wrongful restraint) 506(criminal intimidation and 34(committing a crime with common intention ) of the IPC has been registered against the unidentified accused.
