The Lohian Khas police have booked an unidentified vehicle driver on the charge of causing death by negligence.
Buta Singh a resident of Harike Pattann, Taran Tarn complained to the police that the accused driver was driving his vehicle negligently and fast and hit his son Gurpreet Singh's motorcycle (PB-38-D-8298) on October 19 at Kara Ram Singh village Adda and killed him on the spot.
Investigating Officer Govinder Singh said that a case under sections 304-A (causing death by negligence)279(rash driving on a public road) and 427 (mischief)of the IPC has been registered against an unidentified vehicle driver.
The Nakodar city police also booked an unidentified vehicle driver for rash driving on a statement from Geeta Devi of Malarri village said IO Ranjit Singh,
