NAKODAR
The Mehat Pur police have arrested a woman drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin. Investigating officer (IO)Gurnam Singh said that 60 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Paramjeet Kaur alias Pammi wife of Charanjit Singh alias Channi a resident of Bute Dian Chhana village.
IO said that a case under sections 21(B)/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Nakodar City police arrested drug peddler Baljit alias Garari, son of Tarsem Lal a resident of Mahun Wal village with 110 intoxicant tablets (loose), said investigating officer Hans Raj.
