The Lohian Khas police have arrested a local resident on the charge of stealing a motorcycle.
Investigating officer (IO) Govinder Singh said that the accused has been identified as Sagar son of Sukhwinder Singh a resident of Padda colony ward no.7 Lohian Khas.
IO said that the accused is a habitual thief and was coming from Sultan Pur Lodhi side to sell a stolen motorcycle and was intercepted at a Naka and recovered a stolen motorcycle (PB-08-EJ-9727) from his possession.
IO said a case under sections 379 (theft) and 411(dishonestly receiving stolen property) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
