The Nakodar city police have booked a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant powder. Station House Officer (SHO) Satpal Singh Singh said that the accused has been identified as Jemas alias Jama son of Harbans Lal a resident of Mohalla Kalam Pura.
SHO said that the police received secret information that the accused was selling intoxicant powder.
SHO said that a case under sections 21/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and raids are being conducted to nab the absconding accused.
