Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal on Tuesday reviewed the progress of the collection of recovery, Revenue Court Management system (RCMS), Swamitva scheme, entering of mutations, updating of revenue records, pendency, and others.
Presiding over a meeting with officers at the District Administrative Complex today after a video conference held by FCR Punjab, Sarangal said that the revenue officers must give topmost priority to the collection of all recoveries for enhancing the revenue of the state government.
He said that the revenue officers should expedite the process of recovery from the defaulters.
He also asked Sub Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) to personally monitor the cases about recoveries.
Meanwhile, he also reviewed progress on the Revenue Court Management system, pendency in revenue courts, the status of consignment of Jamabandis, inspection of patwaris and Kanungos, mutations, Swamitva Scheme, digitized cadastral map and asked the officials to ensure timely disposal of revenue cases pending in their courts.
He oversaw old cases in revenue courts and asked concerned officers to ensure the disposal of such cases on a priority basis.
