A woman resident of Kapurthala district village was killed in an accident.
Investigating officer (IO) Dinesh Kumar said that the deceased has been identified as Sarabjit Kaur ) wife of Amarjit Singh a resident of Lattian Wal village in Kapurthala.
Amarjit told the police that Sarabjit was seriously injured in an accident and died.
IO said the police acting under section 174 of the Cr.P.C handed over the body of the deceased to the family after post-mortem.
