The Mehat Pur police have arrested two thieves on the charge of stealing a transformer from a farmer’s filed.
The Investigating officer (IO) Balwindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Jagsir Singh son of Buta Singh a resident of Kehlan village under Dharam Kot police station Moga and Lovepreet Singh son of Jaswant Singh a resident of Dharam Kot
Gurpreet Singh a resident of Tandaura village complained to the police that the accused stole a transformer installed in his field.
IO said that a case under section 379(theft) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and recovered from their possession of instruments used in the crime.
