The Mehst Pur police have booked a local trader on the charges of cheating and violating copyrights.
Investigating officer (IO) Balwinder Singh said that the accused has been identified as T.T. traders ( Turna cement store ,Mehat Pur).
Sudharshan Verma a resident of Delhi complained to the police that the accused were selling cement from Altra Teck Cement Limited in fake bags.
IO said a case under section 420(cheating) of the Indian Penal Code and sections 63 and 65 of the Copy Rights Act has been registered against the accused and further investigations are on.
