The Bilga police busted a gang of thieves and arrested its three members.
The investigating officer (IO) Anwar Masih said that the accused have been identified as Taranpreet alias Bhundi son of Paramjit, Tirath son of Vijay Kumar and Surinder alias Bindu son of Ram Krishan all residents of Meon Wal village.
Kulwant Kaur wife of Amarjit Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused barged into her house and stole Rs 10,000, gold and silver ornaments.
IO said that a case under sections 380(theft in dwelling house) 454(house trespass) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
