A motorcyclist was killed after his two-wheeler hit stray cattle on September 20 on the village link road in Hardo Sheikh village.
Investigating officer (IO) Amrik Lal said that the deceased has been identified as Lakhvir Singh son of Malkit Singh a resident of Ram Pur village.
Harjinder Singh brother of the deceased informed the police that Lakhvir was returning home on his motorcycle when stray cattle hit his two-wheeler near the village, and he fell on the road and died.
IO said that the police acting under section 174 of the Cr.P.C. handed over the body of the deceased to the family after posting a post-mortem.
