The Nakodar Sadar police have booked two unidentified persons on the charge of snatching cash from a petrol pump and criminal intimidation.
Amarish Sharma a resident of Model Town Kapurthala complained to the police that his cousin was the owner of a petrol pump situated at Kullar village.
He said he was in Chandigarh when he received a phone call regarding snatching money from the petrol pump.
Amarish said he rushed to the pump and two migrant salesmen told him that two motorcycles borne accused with muffled faces came to the petrol pump at around 2.20 P.M. on September 18 and the pillion riding accused was holding a pistol in his hand.
Salesmen said that the accused threatened them and snatched a cash bag containing more than 1 Lakh rupees and three smartphones and flew away.

Investigating Officer and Uggi police post-in-charge Jang Bahadur said that a case under sections 379-B (snatching) and 506(criminal intimidation) of the IPC and sections 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act has been registered against the unidentified accused and further investigation is on.
