The Shahkot police have arrested two thieves on the charge of stealing cash and jewellery.
Investigating Officer Salinder Singh said that the accused have been identified as Manpreet Singh ails Bunti son of Dhola Singh a resident of Bau Pur Bet and Jasvir Singh alias Neelu son of Baljit Singh a resident of Ram Pur village
Mandeep Singh a resident of Bau Pur Bet village e complained to the police that the accused barged into his house in his absence on 16 September night and stole 1 Lakh and golden jewellery.
IO said that a case under sections 457 (lurking house-trespass) d 380(theft in dwelling house) and 34(committing crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
