NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police have booked a village girl on the charge of abetting suicide.
Investigating officer (IO)Mandeep Singh said the accused has been identified as Gagan daughter of Laddi a resident of Eeda village under Nakodar Sadar police station.
Gopi son of Amarik Singh a resident of Mohalla Kama Pura Nakodar complained to the police that.
Gagan is in love with his younger brother Happy cheats on him and asks Happy to die.
He said his bother consumed poison on September 9 and died in Nakodar civil hospital adding that his brother’s phone records have confirmed these facts. He said that the police earlier had initiated proceedings under section 174 of the Cr. P.C. and demanded legal action against Gagan.
IO said a case under section 306 (abetting suicide) of the IPC has been registered against the accused Gagan.
