The Mehat Pur police have booked two people on charges of rash driving, endangering life, and mischief.
Investigating Officer (IO) Jaspal Singh said that the accused has been identified as Johan son of Raghvir Chand a resident of Sangowal village and his unidentified accomplice.
Balwinder Kumar a resident of Malarri village complained to the police that the accused were driving their vehicle negligently and hit him and his friend and seriously injured them.
IO said that a case under sections 279(rash driving on a public highway), 337,338(act endangering life or personal safety of others), and 427(mischief) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
