The Bilga police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling poppy husk.
Station house officer (SHO) Mohinder Pal said that 5 kilograms of poppy husk were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Sandeep Singh alias Bagga son of Sona Singh a resident of Vehran village under Mehat Pur police station.
SHO said that a case under section 15(b) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused, impounded a motorcycle (PB-10 GS-7375) on which he was traveling with the contraband.
